The purpose of The Dog Den’s daycare is to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating social environment for dogs. To ensure the safety and health of your pet, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
Age: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age or older.
Sex: All dogs over 6 months of age must be neutered. Please contact us to discuss ; there are some exceptions to this rule.
Vaccines: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and Bordatella (canine / kennel cough)
Health: All dogs must be in good health. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests. Please do not bring your dog to daycare if they are unwell, if we see any signs of illness your emergency contact will be contacted immediately to come and collect your dog.
Behaviour: All dogs must be social with other dogs, if any history of aggression towards other dogs or humans then daycare is not the environment for your dog.
What Happens if your dog becomes ill or injured at Daycare, and who is responsible for the cost associated with any illness or injury ?
Every attempt to contact the owner (or emergency contact) will be made immediately, however if it is an emergency situation we take your dog to our Vet for the health and safety of the dog. Owners are responsible for any costs associated with illness or injury. Like children in crèche, dogs in daycare can get hurt or injured during play. We take every measure to prevent injuries, but from time to time they will happen. We advise owners to take out pet insurance to cover any veterinary bills that may arise, regardless of whether or not your dog is in daycare with us pet insurance is highly recommended. By sending your dog to our daycare you are are acknowledging that you have read and agree with this policy.
